The Lady Dillos picked up another district victory against Center Point on Friday night to move their district record to 10-0 and 21-0 overall.
The Lady Dillos started off the game with great defensive pressure and excellent teamwork and ball movement on offense. The Lady Dillos took a 50-2 lead into halftime and eventually went on to defeat Center Point by a score of 83-13.
I felt like our girls really executed and put into action what we had been working on in practice this week. With district play winding down and the playoffs approaching soon, we are concentrating on areas where we want to continue improving and fine tuning all the weapons in our ‘Lady Dillo arsenal’. This is a great group of young ladies and I am excited to see where this journey takes us!
The Lady Dillos will host Junction on Tuesday night in our final home game of the season. That will also be ‘Senior Night’ and we will honor three amazing Lady Dillos; Brighton Adams, Courtnee Cash, and Braycie Vickery. We will then travel to Mason on Friday night for our final district game of the season. The Varsity girls will play at 6:00 in the main gym and the JV girls will follow at 7:15 in the junior high gym. Thank you for all your continued support! Go Dillos!
