John Wayne Brooks of Bend, Texas, earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas, on May 15, 2021. He graduated Summa Cum Laude.
While in law school, he served as Comment Editor of the Law Review. The speaker for commencement was Ann-Marie Carruth, Judge of the Texas 72nd District.
A 2014 graduate of Lometa High School, he earned undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science at Texas Tech prior to entering law school at Tech.
