Cross Country
Our 2020 JH Dillo and Lady Dillo Cross Country teams wrapped up their season on Monday, October 19th, in San Saba at the District Meet. What a season of success!! It wasn’t only about winning medals, but for these athletes, it was about Winning the Day!
Waking up early and being at practice while others are sleeping is the discipline that they showed everyday. Not only were they disciplined, but they were committed. They were committed to starting something and finishing it.
The results of this commitment were shown at practice and at the meets. Each athlete pushed themselves to the limit. More importantly, they represented their school, community, and town in a manner that would make us all proud of wearing that PURPLE AND GOLD!

I would like to personally THANK each and every one of the members of the San Saba JH Cross Country teams. It was awesome watching you grow throughout the season. There are several of you guys and girls that developed into LEADERS. This LEADERSHIP is what will help fuel the rest of our athletic programs, and it will definitely help you be a stronger individual. I can’t wait to see y'all COMPETE in other sports. Be proud of where you’re from, and don’t forget to BRING IT!
