The Ag Sciences Department is busy preparing for upcoming stock shows. Shawn Dennis says Richland Springs Ag Science students are excited about programs at Richland Springs. The Richland Springs Agriculture Department feeding facility is filling with stock show animals, although many competitors keep their animals at home in order to provide their animals a daily exercise regimen. These students are learning animal husbandry by hands-on learning, in addition to classroom instruction. Mr. Dennis also reminds students to provide covers for their sheared animals, and maintain proper nutrition for their animals, especially during colder weather. Ag mechanics students are putting finishing touches on the new fencing around the high school. Thanks to all the ag students for their hard work!
