Last Thursday, August 19, the Dillos and Lady Dillos competed in the Johnson City 6-mile Relay. This meet was a little unconventional compared to your regular cross country meet as runner ran 1.5 miles instead of the usual 3 miles for guys and 2 miles for the ladies. Another unique part of the meet was a four-man (or girl) 6-mile relay with runners competing as a team against other towns. The top four runners from each town competed in the relay, and the rest of the runners competed as individuals in a 1.5-mile run. Congratulations to all the run- ners and good luck next week as they will be running in Brownwood on August 31st.
