Regional Bound!! Congratulations to Cinzlea Stanton and Winton Lackey. The sophomores golfers from San Saba advanced as medalist from district 29-2A. Stanton’s two day total of 174 (87, 87) was good enough to place her 4th overall in one of the toughest girls districts in 2A golf. Lackey’s two day total of 184 (92, 92) qualified him as the 5th medalist, Lackey came into the final round six strokes back, but held on to advance. The regional site will be at the Lazano golf course in Corpus Christi; Stanton will play April 17th and 18th followed by Lackey on April 19th and 20th.
