The Hill Country Cattle-Women (HCCW) are delighted to have donated eight $100 gift cards to deserving food bank charities in the counties Hill Country CattleWomen serve. These gifts are for the purchase of Beef to assist those in need from The Dutchmen’s Meat Market in Fredericksburg. The Cattle-Women are very grateful for what these important organizations do to help support the community, and in turn, they believe it is important for them to help by providing Beef for their meals. In addition to the beef, they also hand out cooking instructions and recipes for recipients to learn from.
The Food Banks include: Menard Community Center (Menard) The Llano Food Pantry (Llano), The Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries (Boerne), The Mason Community Kitchen (Mason), Kimble Meals on Wheels Junction), The Hill Country Veteran’s Center (Kerrville), The Johnson City Christian Food Pantry and The San Saba Ministerial Alliance Food Bank (San Saba). This is the fourth continuous year that the Hill Country Cattle-Women have donated to these charities.
