Hickory Underground Water Conservation District No. 1
A tremendous success, this year’s poster contest drew around 140 entries from several area schools: Brady, Richland Springs, San Saba and Cherokee. The contest is open to all 4th and 5th Graders in the District.
The Board selected the winners at the February 9 Regular Board Meeting. First place went to Levi Covey and second place to Robert Williams. Both are 5th grade students from Mrs. Bridges’ Brady Elementary class. The third-place winner is Karime Oyervides, a 5th grader from Mrs. Womack’s class in Richland Springs.
The winners receive Walmart gift cards along with the recognition and pride associated with their success.
