The Hill Country Cattle-Women (HCCW) will meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the James River Ice House located at 8308 Ranch Rd 2389 in Mason. An open invitation is extended to all women in the HCCW 14-county region to attend. Guests need only have an interest in the promotion of BEEF. Lunch is $20 and will be served at noon.
Missy Crocker of MTX Beef will be sharing the story behind her family's business. Missy and Justin operate Mason Feeders as well as raise and process home grown beef. They supply beef to restaurants, meat markets, individuals, co-ops, even convenience stores. Further details can be found at <www.mtxbeef. com>.
HCCW is a service organization which strives to serve their counties by promoting beef education, land rights and land stewardship. They also offer scholarships to high school seniors applying to trade/vocational school as well as college scholarships for college level juniors and seniors. Applications are currently being accepted.
