Varsity Player of the Week This week, we recognize 5’5 freshman guard Chassidy Gonzales as the Varsity Player of the week. She plays basketball, cross country and track. Chassidy also participates in Cheer. She qualified for regionals in cross country. One San Saba ISD teacher that Chassidy would like to thank is Mrs. Tracy Taylor. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. In the future, Chassidy plans to become a Cosmetologist.
JV Players of the Week
This week, we recognize a pair of young ladies for JV Players of the Week. First off is freshman guard Ema Argote. She plays basketball, powerlifting, tennis and track. She also participates in Cheer, Student Council, and UIL Academics. One San Saba ISD teacher that Ema would like to thank is Ms. Rita Boultinghouse. During her free time, she likes to paint and lift weights. In the future, Ema plans on attending TCU to pursue a degree in science and kinesiology to become a coach or work in sports medicine.
We also have freshman guard Paige Lewis. She plays basketball and track. Paige is also in Band. One San Saba ISD teacher that Paige would like to thank is Mrs. Slone. Her future plans are to finish high school.
