Phyllis Cohen and Lewis Linn, of Houston and San Saba, Texas, are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Corey Linn, to Scott Pierce Hughes, the son of Joan and Greg Hughes of Georgetown, Texas.
Rebecca is the granddaughter of the late Johnnie Lou and Don Linn of San Saba and the late Dorothy and Ralph Cohen of Nutley, New Jersey. Scott is the grandson of the late Rachel and John Weightman of Eden Mills, Vermont, and the late Elizabeth and William Hughes of Locust Valley, New York.
Rebecca is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas. Scott is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Rebecca is employed by Houston Methodist as a Regional Administrator. Scott is employed by Woolpert as a Civil Engineer.
A September 30, 2023, wedding is planned in Houston.
