Coach Chris Jost
This week, we recognize 5’1 sophomore guard Aaliyah Patino as the Varsity Player of the week. She plays basketball, track and softball. Aaliyah also participates in TAFE, Student Council and was a student trainer for football. Her accomplishments include playing in the state tournament for basketball as well as competing at State TAFE. One San Saba ISD teacher that Aaliyah would like to thank is Coach Cory Prew. During her free time, she enjoys reading, Legos and sleeping. In the future, Aaliyah plans to go to college.
JV Player of the Week
This week, we recognize freshman guard Kelyn Yanez-Olalde as JV Player of the Week. Her sports are cross country, basketball and track. Kelyn qualified for regional cross country by finishing top 10 at the district cross country meet. One San Saba ISD teacher that Kelyn would like to thank is Ms. Sandy Bryant. During her free time, she likes running to stay in shape, drawing, cooking and listening to music. In the future, Kelyn wants to get married and travel around the world.
