On November 8th, 2022 Pastors Tom and Cynthia Brand celebrated 30 years of pastoral ministry at The Father’s House in San Saba, Texas. Sunday, October 30th, they were given a surprise celebration by their congregation, family, and lifelong friends. This memorable surprise included videos shared by family, friends, and mentors that have played a vital role in the Brand’s ministry journey. Special words were shared by members of the congregation followed by a delicious meal served by the people who love them dearly.
Pastor Tom and his wife Cynthia arrived in San Saba from Lewisville, on November 8th, 1992, along with their three children: Jennifer, Amy, and Michael. Prior to accepting the Senior Pastoral position at, what was then, the San Saba Full Gospel Church, the couple served for many years as youth ministers in the DFW area. Although Pas-tors, Tom and Cynthia originally thought their time in San Saba would be short; God had other plans.
They feel truly blessed and honored to have served, and continue to serve, not only their church people, but also their community for 30 years. Alongside his ministry at The Father’s House, Pastor Tom has been a devoted member and leader in the San Saba Ministerial Alliance. It goes without saying that he sees and seeks to meet the needs of, not only the people in his church, but in his community as well.
It has been, and will continue to be, the heart of Pastors Tom and Cynthia to share the love of Jesus within their church as well as within the community. They look forward to many more years of ministry yet to come here in San Saba.
