The Coyotes played their Bi-District game against Zephyr in Golthwaite, Texas last Friday, November 11th.
Billy Perry had a total of 243 rushing yards and 6 touch-downs.
Keston Lusty had 95 yards and 2 touchdowns and 9 rushes. Hutton Rogers had 27 yards, Cohen Tharp with 7 and Jayden Sutherland with 2.
Cody Martin converted five of the 10 two-point kicks.
Final score 61-16. Bi-District Champs!
Richland Springs Coyotes will play for the Area title on Friday, November 18th, against Loraine. The game will be played at the Mertzon stadium at 7:00 p.m.

Our varsity football team played in the Bi-District game in San Saba last week. They took on the Blanket Tigers and played well. Coach White reports that our “defense played great, only allowing two first downs for Blanket.” The Indians secured the Bi-District championship with a 52-6 victory. An extra special thanks goes to the San Saba Armadillo Band for supporting our game and amping up the crowd and our boys. The Indians will play against Blackwell in Strawn Friday night at 6:30 p.m. We will have a sendoff downtown on Friday at 1:50 p.m. Come out and support our Indians!
This week, we will have our annual Thanksgiving meal at the school where we invite families and community members to come enjoy a meal with us. This will be on Wednesday. Thursday, grades 3-5 will be traveling to Johnson City to the Science Mill for a field trip. We will recap their adventures next week!
Next week, we will observe our Thanksgiving break. We will release school at 1 p.m. on Tuesday and will have no school Wednesday and Thursday. We hope everyone enjoys the break.
