San Saba Fire was called out to a house fire in the 600 block of Martin St. at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9th.
Early responders were unable to fight the fire initially, due to a wildly arcing downed electric wire, but City electric crews arrived at the scene and cut off power.
One person was transported by ambulance for treatment of smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported.
The structure incurred heavy fire damage and is uninhabitable. The holiday season is upon us, so please practice fire safety around your home and address any hazards that could lead to loss of your home and possessions.
