San Saba Garden Club awarded SSES teacher and sponsor of school garden, Kelley Cash, with a check of $100 to use on items needed by teachers in the school's Pollinators’ Garden. Students help maintain the growing landscape with hoses, rakes, hoes, spades, and their trusty gloves. They fill the feeders and plant the raised beds in fall and spring growing seasons. They enjoy science lessons in the garden, observing the pollinators, and leisurely read there sometimes.
