The Hill Country Cattlewomen ( HCCW) proudly announces this year’s HCCW Scholarship recipients. Scholarships are offered to college juniors and above who have earned at least 60 college hours and are residents of one of the 14 counties HCCW serves. The HCCW Scholarship Committee awarded $10,000 to four exceptional candidates. Each Scholarship recipient embraces an interest in the promotion of agriculture and/or the beef industry.
HCCW is pleased to present $5,000 to Bethany Crenwelge of Fredericksburg. Bethany attends Texas Tech University and is pursuing a degree with a Concentration in Meat Science and a Minor in Agricultural Business. Kaylee Kramer of Harper received $2,500. Kaylee studies Ag Business at Texas A&M University. Jax Tedder of Mason who is attending Tarleton State University and studies Ag Services & Development was awarded $2,000. And finally, a $500 scholarship goes to Eli DeLong of Fredericksburg who is attending Texas Tech University and Majoring in Animal Science. The Hill Country Cattlewomen congratulates these recipients and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
The Hill Country Cattlewomen’s membership covers 14 counties in the beautiful Texas Hill Country including Bandera, Bexar, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Llano, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Real and San Saba. HCCW organization benefits the counties they serve by promoting beef education, land rights and land stewardship.
