Back To School

It is a great day to be a Dillo! I hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of your summer break. San Saba ISD is getting ready to kick off the 2022-2023 school year. The first day of school marks a milestone for students and parents alike. For some, it is the first day of kindergarten and for others, it is the first day of senior year. No matter where you are on this journey, it is our commitment to you to provide an environment that is challenging, supportive, and safe.

There have been many changes for the upcoming school year, and San Saba welcomes three new principals to our team. Dani Gilcrease is the principal for San Saba Elementary, Monica Shahan is the principal for San Saba Middle School, and Joshua Ham is the principal for San Saba High School. These principals have been working on preparing for the upcoming school year tirelessly and making sure that all staff positions are filled.

Teachers will start back on August 9, 2022, for new teacher orientation and the rest of the staff will be back on August 10, 2022. They will be working on professional development and getting their rooms ready for the new school year.

Mark your calendars for the following events:
