Richard Randolph celebrated his 82nd birthday last Friday. His children helped him celebrate on the Saturday prior to the actual day.
There was a lot of activity on the Cherokee ISD campus all week. Just a few things going on up there are the library is moving to a different space, the Teachers' Workroom is getting spruced up, and Thursday night was registration.
The quilt for the VFD fundraiser is finished! The quilters came in to the cafe for a celebratory lunch. Raffle tickets will go on sell soon.
My granddaughter Katie spent last week with me. I think she enjoyed going to work with me and just hanging out.
Our new hours at the Cherokee Corner Cafe are Monday-Thursday, 11-2. Southside BBQ will be open Friday and Saturday, 11-8, and Sunday 11-3.
