Skelton Hardware opened its doors at 107 E. Main Street in Richland Springs in 1979 by Donald and Ginger Skelton. Since then, the family business was inherited by daughters Kristy Perry and Laura Garcia. Kristy's and Laura’s husbands currently manage the store.
Skelton Hardware is located in a historic 1911 building in downtown Richland Springs. The building was the first built in Richland Springs and previously housed a hardware store, a beauty shop, and a funeral home simultaneously.
