Pecan Street Bath and Body began soaping in 2020. Bill and Regina Baker began to hear the benefits of goat’s milk for the skin and started to do a lot of research. Regina has an autoimmune issue which caused her to have very dry skin. After researching oil after oil and learning how each oil benefits the skin, they came up with what they feel is the perfect skin soothing recipe. Regina’s dry skin began to improve quickly. Being in San Saba, Pecan Street Bath and Body had to incorporate pecan oil. Pecan oil is rich in vitamins A and E which helps to keep the skin hydrated. They also decided to add Hemp oil which moisturizes without clogging the pores of the skin. Pecan Street Bath and Body makes beautiful colorful and scented soaps that make wonderful gifts.
After finding their perfect recipe for soap, they began making sugar scrubs, lotions, and lip balms incorporating their research of oils. Their Sugar Scrubs are layered to make them look beautiful and also making them great gifts.
