Dwayne Bishop Building completed in Uganda

The addition to the Busia Bible and Vocational Training School in Budoola, Uganda, built in honor of Dwayne Bishop is now complete. The building contains a large classroom as well as a sleeping room for the male students. The staff is waiting on tables and chairs for the classroom. The school is currently holding classes in their existing building for the 12 students that were already enrolled but due to COVID had not been able to attend classes on a regular basis. Everything is now back on schedule, and the students will complete their course work by the end of 2022. In January of 2023, a new group of 24 students will start the twoyear program.

The Ugandan team would like to express their gratitude to the generous donations of family and friends of Dwayne Bishop for making this longheld dream of expanding the Bible school in Budoola a reality. Many men will have the opportunity to gain a more in-depth knowledge of God’s Word, learn to teach and preach more effectively, and as a result, spread the gospel to all of Uganda and even perhaps expand to other countries in Africa. They will also be trained in garment design/construction and/or agriculture to help them have skills that will allow them to preach but at the same time financially support their families. Future plans are to open the program to women for training as preschool teachers and in an increased knowledge of the Bible.
