On September 11, 2021, Camila Patino was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Hwy 500 and was thrown from her car, resulting in severe head injuries. She had been in recovery ever since and was welcomed home, Sunday, March 6th, at 3:00 p.m. Camila's special homecoming included a parade of first responders, emergency vehicles and friends driving by her home in San Saba. Pictured are first responders from San Saba's VFD, EMS, Police Department, and Sheriff's Office, who participated in the homecoming event. Camila still has a long way to go but is firmly on the path to recovery. Her faith, spirit, and will to recover are an inspiration to all.
