JLD Basketball (13-1) traveled to Goldthwaite, Texas, on March 4/5 to take part in the 2022 Goldthwaite PTO Basketball Tournament. JLD had wins over Zephyr 18-4, Goldthwaite 16-2, and Deleon, in the championship game, 12-4. Other teams in the eight team tournament field included Priddy, Lorena, Hamilton, and Comanche. Team members are, left to right: Peyton Bagley, Greenley Jo Moore, Khloe Martinez, Cameryn Brockman, Allie Sebastain, Carla Jimenez, Mayce McDowell, and Jazmin Reyes. With the tournament championship win, JLD picked up the 1001 win and 136th tournament championship for the program since its inception in 2004. Congratulations to current and all past program members.
