Pre-teens invited to HCM “Girl Talk”

Girls in grades three through five are invited to a free “Girl Talk” offered by Hill Country Memorial on Tuesday, February 22, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Elementary School cafeteria, 1608 N. Adams Street, Fredericksburg.

Jennifer Dulaney, MD, FACOG, of Women and Children First, along with Kellie Flood-Shaffer, MD, FACOG, of the HCM Medical Group will conduct the interactive seminar on transiting to a young woman. Topics will cover basic female anatomy, feminine hygiene, and menstrual and hormonal cycles.

“Our Girl Talk program is not only educational but interactive and fun,” said Tammy Rohlf, Development Supervisor. “Our HCM experts will answer questions and provide you with tools and resources to help make the transition to womanhood as comfortable and easy as possible.”

The event is free, and moms are asked to accompany their daughters. Each attendee will receive a goodie bag, and light refreshments will be served.

To reserve a space, families are asked to RSVP online at HCMgirltalk.org or call (866) 421-4264.
