Hear ye, hear ye! Come to the Candidates' Forum! We can’t promise gladiators, but we are sure to have some sparks flying at your Candidates' Forum sponsored by the Rotary Club of San Saba!
The Rotary Club of San Saba is hosting its 3rd Bi-Annual Candidates' Forum on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the San Saba High School cafeteria. Come one, Come all, to hear from your candidates and ask your questions.
So far, we have several of our State House Representative candidates confirmed and, rumor has it, we might have several statewide candidates swinging in. That would be quite a compliment to the voters of San Saba.
This coming election promises a change of faces at the County Commissioners' Court and County Judge offices. The contested Judge’s race will be sure to be interesting and likely to cover issues related to taxes, jail, employment, Railroad, and other areas of community concern.
AND NOW, the answer to your #1 question: Yes – food and drink will be available for your pleasure at the Forum.
The Rotary Club of San Saba meets at Pepperbelly’s Mexican Restaurant at noon on Thursdays.
