Receipts totaled 4,417 head for the week. The market continued to be very active with good demand. The stocker steers sold steady with 3 steers 423 lbs @ $198.00 ($837.54) and 5 steers 591 lbs @ $158.00 ($933.78). The stocker heifers were $1-$3 higher with 2 heifers weighing 583 lbs @ $147.00 ($857.01). The feeder steers were steady with 2 steers 710 lbs $148.00 ($1050.80), and feeder heifers were $1-$3 higher with 12 head @ 668 lbs @ $138.00 ($921.84) and 19 heifers 877 lbs @ $126.00 ($1105.02). Packer cows were $2 higher, and bulls were $2- $3 higher with the top bull at $103.00. Pairs and bred cows were steady to $100 higher. The Leachman Ranch 97 Stabilizer bulls averaged $3545.00 with the highest bull at $8750.00, and the Ludvigson Red Angus bulls averaged $4045.00 with the top selling bull $9750.00.
