Christmas Extravaganza deemed a huge success; visitors and locals enjoyed Sip N’ Stroll, school choir, Santa’s Workshop, and lined Wallace Street to see dazzling parade

San Saba County Chamber of Commerce hosted their 8th Annual Sip N’ Stroll on Saturday, December 11th. This year’s Sip N’ Stroll was a huge success, bringing in a record number of ticket sales and people to our small town. There were special visits from Chet Garner of the Daytripper, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, and longhorn steers.

Eight visiting Texas Hill Country wineries set up in our San Saba stores and served tastings of their exceptional wines. Visiting wineries included: Flat Creek Estate, Pillar Bluff, Fiesta Winery, Texas Legato, Torr Na Loch Vineyard and Winery, Stoneledge Vineyard, Texas Hills Vineyard, and Spirit of Texas. Our very own Wedding Oak Winery had two locations ready to pour awesome glasses for the large crowds.

Approximately 100 children from San Saba Elementary School sang carols in front of the courthouse. Local entertainer, Mark Scott, performed on the stage throughout the day.

As the skies darkened, lights lit up the sky with our biggest Christmas parade yet! The parade included over 40 participants and over a thousand onlookers.

The San Saba Chamber of Commerce extends sincere appreciation to all of San Saba for helping to make this year’s event successful! We are looking forward to hosting our 9th Annual Sip N’ Stroll in December 2022.
