Free semester possible as CTC registers for spring classes

Central Texas College (CTC) announced registration for spring 2022 semester classes at its Service Area sites in Lampasas and Marble Falls continues through January 17. Most students will receive a free semester as several emergency aid grants are available to cover the cost of tuition and books. Students can apply online for the American Rescue Plan, Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act or Reskilling grants to cover the cost of tuition, books and emergency costs such as food, housing, health care or child care.

Classes will be offered as either in-person lecture, a blended (OBL) format combining faceto-face and online work or synchronous virtual lecture (SVL) format offering live instruction online allowing students to interact live with instructors in a virtual environment. Students can use the CTC online Eagle Self-Service system to sign up for classes which begin January 18.

In addition to classes offered in Lampasas and Marble Falls, local students may register for online classes or SVL classes available at other Service Area sites and at the Central Campus in Killeen.
