As part of the Christmas Extravaganza which occurred Saturday, December 11th, an opportunity for pictures with Santa was extended to the community. The event was held at 122 South Cherokee in the former temporary Lowe’s Market building owned by Albert and Kay Stowell.
Mr. and Mrs. Santa were available from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., giving children the chance to tell Santa their Christmas wish list. Harry’s Boots provided Mr. and Mrs. Santa. Goodies bags were distributed as were cookies, water, and ornaments. San Saba’s First Baptist Church and St. Mary’s donated the goodie bags.
The San Saba County Ministerial Alliance enjoys hosting Santa’s Workshop and is very appreciative of all who donated time, service, equipment, etc., for this very important community event. The Alliance hopes everyone has a very Merry Christmas and always remember the true Reason for the Season.
