San Saba Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire on East Dry Street last Friday evening, October 29th. The fire spread rapidly and crews struggled to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent homes and were ultimately successful.
Richland Springs VFD was called to assist with containment efforts. All occupants escaped the fire, including family pets. The house was considered a total loss.
