The San Saba Rodeo & Livestock Association is excited to announce this year’s annual UPRA-CPRA sanctioned rodeo produced by Cadillac Rodeo Co. on Friday, August 20th, and Saturday, August 21st. The rodeo will kick off with "Mutton bustin'" for children eight-years-old and under at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to sign up your child each night. Professional rodeo contestants will be competing in traditional events beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Legendary rodeo clown, Leon Coffee, will be here to entertain fans. We are also excited to welcome the San Angelo Ambassadors drill performance team.
The Rodeo Parade will be Saturday morning, August 21st, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in downtown San Saba. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to participate. Please contact Sara McCoury at 325/372-1550 for more information.
The County Team Roping will be on Wednesday, August 18th. Please contact Morgan Gilger. Slack for the rodeo will be on Thursday evening, August 19th.
The San Saba County Young Farmers will be providing the concessions with a delicious menu and treats. Their proceeds go to helping the annual livestock show for the youth of San Saba County. Please help support their efforts.
Plan to brings friends and family out to enjoy the tradition of rodeo at the 83rd annual San Saba Rodeo. Proceeds from the rodeo are used to promote higher education of County youth.
