Layne Ward, grandson of Sherry Berryhill of San Saba, came in 1st overall of all divisions in San Saba’s “We the People” 4th of July’s Stan Weik – Stomp out Cancer Fun Run held July 3rd. Layne had to leave immediately after the race for out of town travel, so he happily posed for a quick photo taken by his grandmother. Layne, age 12, came in 1st with a run time of 24:53.7.
