Receipts totaled 2,452 head with no sale being held at Mason due to the July 4th holiday. Demand was strong with very good activity. The stocker steers were steady with 4 steers 546 lbs at $172.00 ($939.12), and the stocker heifers were also steady. The feeder steers 700 lbs and up were $5 higher with the balance selling steady with 16 steers 776 lbs at $143.00 ($1,109.68). The feeder heifers were $5 higher with 4 heifers 741 lbs at $142.00 ($1,052.22). Packer cows were $2 higher, and bulls steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady with a limited test.
