Goldthwaite Lodge No. 694 will be the location of the 2021-2022 Installation of Officers for the 70th Masonic District. The event will take place on Saturday, June 26th.
All four lodges of the District will be in attendance: San Saba No. 612, Goldthwaite No. 694, Saratoga No. 546, and Mullin No. 806. Carlos Don Johnson, District Instructor from District No. 70, will be the Installing Officer assisted by Installing Marshall J. C. Mason, both of Goldthwaite Lodge.
A meal of brisket and sausage with sides of beans, pickles, onions, and bread will be served at 6:00 p.m. Guests are asked to bring any sides, as well as salads or desserts, to compliment the main dish listed. The installation will begin at 7:00 p.m. The installation is open to the public and all family and friends are invited to attend.
A Lodge of Sorrow will convene at San Saba Lodge prior to installation. Officers should be in their stations and places at 4:00 p. m. The following Lodge member passed away during the 2020-2021 Masonic Year: Howard Madison “Sonny” Boswell.
