Receipts totaled 3,129 head. A choice offering of calves and yearlings were offered with strong demand on a very active market. The stocker steers sold steady with 14 steers 555 lbs $165.00 ($915.75). The lighter weight stocker heifers were $2 higher and the heifers weighing 550-650 lbs sold $3-$5 higher with 11 heifers 649 lbs at $142.50 ($924.83). The bigger feeder heifers were $2 higher. The steers weighing 550-650 lbs were $5 higher with 36 steers 644 lbs at $157.50 ($1,014.30) and 64 steers 648 lbs $154.50 ($1,001.16). The bigger feeder steers were $2-$3 higher. Packer cows were $2-$3 lower and bulls were $2 lower. Pairs and bred cows were in good demand on a steady market.
