Receipts totaled 1,367 head with no sale being held on Monday in Mason due to Easter. Demand was very strong with a lot of activity. Socker steers sold $2-$4 higher with 2 steers 450 lbs at $195.00 ($877.50) and 5 steers 579 lbs at $169.00 ($978.51). The stocker heifers were steady to $1 higher with 20 heifers 537 lbs at $150 ($805.50). The feeder steers were $2-$4 higher with 10 steers 709 lbs at $150.00 ($1,063.50), and the feeder heifers were $2-$3 higher. Packer cows were steady with the top cow at $80.00, and bulls were steady with high bull at $92.50. Pairs and bred cows were steady with good demand. The STS Ranch 21 Angus bulls avg. $3574, Schaefer Farms 8 Angus bulls avg. $3450, MW Hereford bulls sold from $1200 up to $3000, Hickory Sand Ranch Brangus bulls avg. $2920 and the E3 Brangus Ranch 10 bulls avg. $2680 with a high selling bull at $3700.
