The San Saba Garden Club Yard of the Month for July is located at 2502 W. Commerce Street. The beautifully manicured yard is owned by Scott and Leigh Ann Glaze.

A beautiful Hawaiian Plumeria plant sitting on the porch welcomes you to this home. The blooms of the Plumeria plants are used to make Hawaiian Leis. There are two blue Mexican pots filled with decorative grass framing the entry way door. The front yard is a mix of Saint Augustine and Bermuda grass. Flower beds are filled with red Knockout Roses, miscellaneous evergreen shrubs, Japanese Box Hedge and Magenta Crepe Myrtles. A lovely bird bath given to Leigh Ann by her parents many years ago adorns the yard, along with a lovely seasonal flag.

The island features two Texas Sage, an Armadillo iron figure sitting upon a native rock and a Vanilla Spice Lilac which provides an incredible fragrance. Also, a Live Oak and African Blue Lilly plants are all bordered by Monkey grass.

There are luscious pink and Magenta Crepe Myrtles blooming and hovering over the backyard fencing.

Be sure and drive by July's Yard of the Month and enjoy the view!
