The weather is nice and warm, in fact, more like summer up in the 90’s, and no rain in sight.

It is late already and not a line.

Maybe someone will send a dime.

If no one calls or emails, this column will die with a song. No news will mean everyone is dead or long gone.

When there is no news to report, I resort to goofy. So if you want news, email or call me the latest stuffy.

Remember that Father’s Day is just around the corner. Think of something special you can do for him this year. In case you don’t know, it will be June 21. Seems like a long way off, but it will be here before you know it.

There is still people listed on our prayer list who are ill are have recently lost a loved one. Charlene Reavis is now alone and needs prayer, Pete Henniger is fighting a battle with cancer, Phil B McCoury is still hanging in there, Earl Ray Sutton who still has medical problems, Jane Clark with her medical problems. You know to include their families as they are in the battle with their loved ones.

So far knock on wood, no one in or around the Bend has come down with the virus and sure hope it stays that way. At last report, just one person in San Saba has come down with it. Wash your hands, and wear a mask. You may get tired of hearing it, but it is very important.

Bonnie Millican reported that the Bend Methodist Church will be having Vacation Bible School June 15-16. Make plans for your children to attend.

We have some new neighbors that have just moved in. Don’t have their name but will have it for next week’s news.

Happy birthday greetings go out to William Clark who will be celebrating a birthday June 16, and to Alisha Roger and Lukas Felps who will be celebrating birthdays June 17.

Congratulations goes out to Phillip and Bobbie Morris who will be celebrating their anniversary June 15, and to Michael and Gennifer Brister who will be celebrating their anniversary June 16.
