The San Saba County Commissioners’ Court met for a special meeting on Thursday, May 21st, in the County Judge’s Chambers. Judge Byron Theodosis called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m., gave the invocation and led everyone in the pledges.
Special Action Items:
Item 1. Discuss and Take possible Action To Authorize the Purchase of Skidsteer for precinct 4.
Decision: The Court unanimously approved the purchase of the skidsteer for Precinct 4.
Item 2. Take Possible Action Concerning Burn Ban (Current Status: Enacted As of 5-14-2020)
Decision: The Court had elected to invoke the burn ban at the May 14th meeting. No change was made.
Item 3. Adjourn
Judge Theodosis adjourned the meeting at 3:13 p.m. The following were in attendance at this meeting: Judge Byron Theodosis; Commissioners Otis Judkins and Pat Pool; County Clerk, Kim Wells; County Treasurer, Lois Van Beck; and Emergency Management Coordinator, Marsha Hardy.
The next Commissioners’ Court meeting will be held Monday, June 8th, at 9:00 a.m.
Editor's Note: Notice was received on May 28th from Marsha Hardy, Emergency Management Coordinator, that County Judge Theodosis had lifted the burn ban that afternoon.
