Mason - San Saba March 26, 2020
Receipts totaled 424 head with no sale at Mason due to the heavy rains that fell over the weekend. The cattle futures finally got unlocked from the stock market, and the oil futures and saw a big increase since last Friday. The demand for beef has been extremely strong as many retailers continue to restock and sell out again. The stocker steers were $15-$25 higher, and stocker heifers were $10-$15 higher. The feeder steers sold $15-$20 higher, and the heifers were $10 higher. Packer cows were $3-$5 higher, and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady with a limited test.
