Richland Springs Trade Days deemed another success!

The Fall Edition of Richland Springs Trade Days is officially in the books, and once again, vendors and shoppers from across Central Texas and beyond came together for a successful day of shopping, visiting, entertainment, and small-town hospitality.

Nearly 50 vendors showcased an impressive variety of merchandise, including homemade baked goods, outstanding woodworking, handcrafted jewelry, canned goods, wreaths, leather goods, door hangers, porch signs, vintage and antique treasures, quilts, chickens, quail, farm-related items, and so much more. The creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication these vendors brought to Richland Springs were certainly on display.

Mother Nature also cooperated beautifully. Once the morning sun climbed higher into the clear blue Texas sky, a gentle northerly breeze provided just enough of that refreshing fall feeling to make for an absolutely gorgeous day outdoors.

Adding to the atmosphere was local musician Dalton Moats, who entertained visitors with several hours of acoustic music on The Feedlot Music Stage. Meanwhile, hungry shoppers had their choice of delicious barbecue, SouthAfrican cuisine, homemade tamales, and other tasty treats offered by participating vendors.

Although foot traffic was lighter than the spring show, that was anticipated with the fall event. More importantly, the overall response from vendors was encouraging. Many expressed their appreciation for the event, with most appearing pleased with their experience and indicating that the trip to Richland Springs was well worth their time.

Events like Trade Days are about much more than buying and selling merchandise. They bring people together, introduce visitors to our small community, provide opportunities for independent businesses, and help showcase the friendly hospitality that makes Richland Springs special.

A special thank-you goes to Reagan Maxcey and the entire Feedlot staff for once again being such gracious and accommodating hosts. Their continued hospitality plays an important role in making this event possible.

And to our incredible vendors and wonderful shoppers, THANK YOU! Whether you traveled from another community, supported a local business, or simply stopped by to enjoy the day, you helped make another Richland Springs Trade Days a success.
