Join The City-Wide KTB Fall Sweep on October 17

KSSB, partnered with the City of San Saba, is calling on all residents to join hands for a cleaner, greener community during the upcoming city-wide cleanup on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Held in partnership with the Keep Texas Beautiful Fall Sweep campaign, this single-day effort relies entirely on volunteer power to clear litter from streets, public parks, and neighborhood corridors.

“Every piece of trash removed makes a visible impact on the health, safety, and beauty of our city,” said City Manager Scott Edmonson. “Whether you dedicate time to clean up your own street or spend the morning cleaning an assigned location, you are playing a vital role in this movement to care for your town and Texas communities.”

KSSB will distribute complimentary cleanup supplies, which include heavy-duty trash bags, disposable gloves, and safety materials. All families, civic groups, student organizations, church groups and local business teams are invited to join in.

The kickoff of the event starts at approximately 8 a.m., gathering on the East side of the courthouse under the city tent to check in, coordinate locations, and receive essential supplies before Volunteers deploy to their cleanup site. Volunteers are highly encouraged to gather back at the courthouse/tent around 11:30 so that they may enjoy a complimentary lunch, receive chances at prize opportunities and to partake in a group photo.

Residents/Volunteers looking to make a lasting difference can sign up or find more information by contacting any KSSB Board Director or calling City Hall at 325-372-5144.
