MOE Basketball (31-8) captured their sixth basketball tournament championship of the year as they took first place in the 25th “Magic” Summer Showcase basketball tourna ment held at the Round Rock Sports Center on Sunday, June 21.
MOE started off the day with a 37 to 24 win over the Austin Lady Magic “purple” with Jazmin Reyes leading in scor ing with 13 points, followed by Evelyn Macedo with 10 points
MOE matched up with ALM 111 in the semi-final round of the tournament and pulled off a 35 to 30 win led by Jazmin Reyes with 12 points.
MOE defeated Lady Un breakable 28 to 19 in the championship game to win the tournament title. MOE was led by Jazmin Reyes with 12 points, followed by Victoria Davis with 10 points.
