Cherokee Chatter

The construction of our new Transitional Living Center is complete! Our Cherokee Home family is busy assembling furniture, hanging decorations, making beds, and filling cabinets with dishes and supplies.

Excitement is building as we prepare for this next chapter! We hope to have a celebration with our staff and kids at the end of this week, with the goal of having all students in the Transitional Living Program fully moved in by the end of next week.

This new building will provide participants in the Transitional Living Program with the space and resources they need to develop independence as they transition into adulthood. It also includes three efficiency apartments where our young adults can return during breaks from college or trade school, giving them a place to call home while they continue their education and training.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude to God for providing everything needed to make this dream a reality. Thank you to all of our supporters who have prayed, encouraged, volunteered, and contributed in so many ways throughout this project. Your generosity and faithfulness have helped make this vision possible, and we are excited to see the lives that will be impacted for years to come.
