Rotary president Jake Lackey congratulated Aleck Newby as Rotarian of the Year. This award is presented to a club member who has consistently exhibited service above self. Aleck has chaired the annual golf tournament held each September for the last 12 years. Each year this tournament has raised between $8000-$10,000, which in turn is awarded to area students.
