Receipts totaled 2,145 head. The demand continued to be good even with a lot of fluctuations in the futures market this last week or two. The stocker steers sold higher on the lighter weight ones and steady to $5 lower on the bigger stocker steers with 2 steers 500 lbs at $525.00 ($2625.00) and 2 steers 603 lbs at $457.50 ($2758.73). The stocker heifers were steady on the real light weight ones and $10-$12 lower on the heavier stocker heifers with more fleshier calves coming to town. The feeder steers were $5-$10 lower, and feeder heifers were $10-$12 lower. Packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady in strong demand.
