Filipenses 4:9-23 DHH (Pablo hablando) Sigan practicando lo que les enseñé y las instrucciones que les di, lo que me oyeron decir y lo que me vieron hacer: háganlo así y el Dios de paz estará con ustedes. Me alegro mucho en el Señor de que ustedes hayan vuelto a pensar en mí. No quiero decir que me hubieran olvidado, sino que no tenían la oportunidad de ayudarme. No lo digo porque yo esté necesitado, pues he aprendido a contentarme con lo que tengo. Sé lo que es vivir en la pobreza, y también lo que es vivir en la abundancia. He aprendido a hacer frente a cualquier situación, lo mismo a estar satisfecho que a tener hambre, a tener de sobra que a no tener nada. A todo puedo hacerle frente, gracias a Cristo que me fortalece………….
Por lo tanto, mi Dios les dará a ustedes todo lo que les falte, conforme a las gloriosas riquezas que tiene en Cristo Jesús. ¡Gloria para siempre a nuestro Dios y Padre! Amén. Saluden de mi parte a todos los que pertenecen al pueblo santo por Jesucristo. Los hermanos que están conmigo les mandan saludos. También les mandan saludos todos los que pertenecen al pueblo santo, y especialmente los del servicio del emperador romano. Que el Señor Jesucristo derrame su gracia sobre ustedes.

I am so happy, and I thank the Lord that you have again shown your care for me. You continued to care about me, but there was no way for you to show it. I am telling you this, but not because I need something. I have learned to be satisfied with what I have and with whatever happens. I know how to live when I am poor and when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of how to live through any kind of situation—when I have enough to eat or when I am hungry, when I have everything I need or when I have nothing. Christ is the one who gives me the strength I need to do whatever I must do………… (19) My God will use his glorious riches to give you everything you need. He will do this through Christ Jesus. Glory to our God and Father forever and ever. Amen.
