Receipts totaled 1,060 head which were reduced due to the good rains that fell throughout the area. The stocker steers were steady to $10 lower with a 175 lbs steer calf bringing $1425 a head. The stocker heifers were steady with 2 heifers 520 lbs at $480.00
($2496.00). The feeder steers were $4-$5 higher with 4 steers
641 lbs at $440.00 ($2820.40) and 6 steers 764 lbs at $400.00
($3056.00). The packer cows and bulls were steady. The pairs and bred cows were in strong demand with 12 black pairs that were 3in1’s sold for $6650.
