Children at Cherokee Home for Children enjoyed a funfilled Easter celebration thanks to Northside Church of Christ in Temple.
About 30 volunteers visited campus for the third annual Easter event, a tradition that continues to grow each year. Northside also visits every other month to spend time with the cottages and build meaningful connections.
The day included face painting, crafts, games, and a campus-wide egg hunt with prizes. A special visit from the Easter Bunny added to the excitement and smiles.
Volunteers also served lunch, grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone to enjoy.
Cherokee Home is grateful for the continued support and love shown by Northside Church of Christ and many other community organizations and churches that help make events like this possible.
